The Gallery of Iwase-based Glass Artist, Yasuda Taizo
Toyama’s historic Iwase district, which flourished as a port-of-call on the Kitamaebune sea route, is known for its scenic cityscape and contemporary sensibilities. At his Iwase studio, internationally acclaimed artist Yasuda Taizo creates exquisite works of Venetian-style glasswork, such as lace and mosaic glass. Gallery visitors can admire and purchase a wide variety of original works by Yasuda Taizo, including glass cups, sake ware, dishes, and more.
