Go for Kogei 2023 International Symposium,   Talking about Art and Kogei Supported by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

The environment surrounding art and craft has undergone rapid change in recent years. As the distance between genres continues to shrink, activist movements and discussions surrounding the relationship of art and craft to issues such as gender equality have become especially salient. This symposium will deepen the discussion surrounding these themes by touching on key concepts such as “history,” “identity,” “body,” and “regional memory.”

Date: 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21st, 2023

Venue: Toyama International Conference Center, 2F MultiPurpose Room (1-2 Otemachi, Toyama)

Format: Japanese and English with consecutive interpretation
